Join us for a grand photography adventure to Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Enhance your photography skills with top notch mentors. Specially designed for photographers this will be a guided tour around the Spiti valley circle covering around 1000 Kms of drive through mega mountains and serene valleys.

Every location is handpicked by our mentors and local experts to bring you the best of photography opportunities. More importantly,  we won't ask you rush like tourists, instead we will stay with you until you get your best shot.

Detailed Iternary:

Day 1 - Chandigarh to Narkanda - 173 Kms ( 6 hours )
Leave Chandigardh by 2 pm, proceed to Narkanda rest for the night in Narkanda.

Day 2 - Narkanda to Raksham - 174 Kms (5 Hours) (10,000 ft)
Leave early, enjoy the vistas en route. About 5-6 hrs of beautiful drive through Kinnaur Valley, Visit Kamru Fort at Sangla if time permit. Watch the lovely sunset from most beautiful village Raksham. Overnight at Raksham, with introduction session of Night Photography.

Day 3 - Raksham - Nako - 150 Kms (5 Hours )
Watch the landscapes en route over Hindustan Tibet Highway . See the Khab, Confluence of Spiti and Satluj Rivers Leo Purygal Peak from Khab Bridge. Night Photography at Nako.

Day 4 - Nako - Tabo (64 Kms ) - Dhankar ( 35 Kms )
Nako to Tabo - 63 Kms (1.5 Hours) Tabo monastery early morning visit and lunch in Tabo. Move to Dhankar. Tabo to Dhankar- 35 Kms (45 mins) Enjoy the magnificent views, evening shoot & Night shoot at Dhankar.

Day 5 - Dhankar - Pin Valley (51 Kms)
Enjoy the most scenic drive to this off road places of Spiti valley. Explore landscape and portrait photography in this scenic region. Pin Valley is at the height of around 12140 ft. It's one of the most scenic place in the Spiti Valley Sprint.

Day 6: Pin Valley - Kaza - Key (65 kms)
Visit to famous Key monastery & sunset and night shoot in key. Overnight at Kaza.

Day 7: Kaza - hakkim - komic – langza (50 kms)
Visit offbeat places near Kaza. Enjoy Great view of Chau Chau Kang Nelda peak & Statue of the Buddha near Langza, Tanggyud monastery at Komik. Spend time with landscape and portrait photography. Overnight at Langza, shoot the beautiful sunset and milkway with the beautiful statue of the Buddha and Langza village in foreground.

Day 8: Langza - Chandrarala (14,000 ft) (107 kms)
Visit Chandratal via Kunzum Pass (15,000 ft) and enjoy scenic vista throughout the journey. Evening shoot & morning shoot (if possible) Chandrarala. Night camping at Chandrarala.

Day 9: Chandratala to Manali (122 kms)
Road leading to Manali has breathtaking beauty with wonderful views with waterfalls emerging through them. Scenic drive through world famous Rohtang Pass. Relax evening/night with shopping at Manali market. Night halt at Manali.

Day 10: Manali to chandigarh (310 kms) 8hrs
After breakfast start return journey for Chandigarh. reach Chandigarh at evening. Tour ends.

Your Mentors


Dr Jitendra Katre is a ENT surgeon by profession for 27 years. Nature photography began as an extension of hobby of water color painting. Doing wildlife and landscape photography since 2007. Published a Marathi book on digital photography (Continental Prakashan). Hosts workshops on digital photography and digital editing. Specializes in Infrared photography and night photography.  

Yogesh Gaikwad has a MBA degree in Marketing with 12 years of marketing experience. While working with big IT giants, he took timeout on weekends to capture the beauty of nature. Since last 10 years he has visited many different parts of sahyadris and captured its beauty through his lens. Yogesh will be your team manager for the photo tour.
