Join us for a grand photography adventure to Hampi in Karnataka. Enhance your photography skills with top notch mentors. Specially designed for photographers this will be a guided tour around the Group of Monuments at Hampi — with numerous temples, farms and trading markets.

Every location is handpicked by our mentors and local experts to bring you the best of photography opportunities. More importantly,  we won't ask you rush like tourists, instead we will stay with you until you get your best shot.

Detailed Iternary:

Day 0 - Overnight travel to hampi

Start at night and reach early in the morning To Hampi.
PUNE to Hampi - 565 Kms, 10 Hours 34 minutes by road. Start at 8 pm from meeting point (FC road) after dinner. The night is free for rest through the journey.

Day 1 - Numerous Temples & Sunset Shoot At Hemkuta Hill

1. Reach Hampi in the early hours and check into the guest house/Hotel.
2. After breakfast head to the famous temples & statues for a photo shoot... Laxmi Narasimha & Badami linga followed by Krishna temple, Sanswekalu Ganesha & Kadlekalu Ganesha.
3. Lunch on your own at the famous mango tree hotel in Hampi.
4. After Lunch head to Hemkuta Hill for Sunset shoot. Reach the top of Hemkuta hill by 4:30 pm.
5. Dinner at the guest house.

Day 2 - Sunrise At Matanga Hill, Old Hampi Street Photography, Sunset At Kalyani Tanks & Manstupas

1. Start early at 5 am for a sunrise shoot at the Matanga hill.
2. get back to the hotel for breakfast by 10 am. 

3. The day is free for a photo shoot in Old Hampi. street photography and portraits can be tried out along with the mentors. 
4. Sightseeing can be done to famous places like Vitthal mandir.
5. Lunch on your own.
6. Head to Kalyani tanks and Manstupas for a sunset shoot by 4.30 PM.
7. Dinner at the guest house/Hotel after the Sunset shoot.

Day 3 - Sunrise shoot at Anjaneya hill & Coracle Boat Ride

1. Early morning sunrise shoot at the Hanuman/ Anjaneya hill
2. Breakfast at the guest house
3. Checkout from the hotel.
4. Lunch on your own.
5. Head to the Coracle boat ride after lunch and sunset shoot at the coracle boat ride.
6. Start Backward journey to Pune after a sunset shoot.
7. Dinner on the way to Pune.


Things To Carry:

  1. 1. DSLR Camera.
    2. Mid-range, wide angle lenses are preferred for     Landscapes.
    3. Wide Angle Lenses for architecture photography.
    4. 35mm or 50mm f/1.4 or f/2.8 mM lens for Portraits.
    5. Tripod.
    6. Wired remote OR Camera with an intervalometer (optional).
    7. Extra MEmory Cards and BAttery. Power BAnk (optional).
    8. Laptop (optional).
    9. A Good Pair of Shoes.
    10. A Good Light Torch.
    11. Cloth to protect your gear.
    12. Comfortable warm clothing.
    13. Drinking water/eatables (Optional).
    14. A good smile.

Inclusions:

  • Road transfer through private vehicle (15/20 Seater) from Pune to Hampi and back as per the Tour itinerary
  • Accommodation on twin-sharing basis in comfortable rooms at all the lodges as per the tour itinerary
  • All scheduled breakfast and dinner while on the Tour
  • Services of Photography Skipper

Exclusions:

  • All travel expenses between your home and Pune city
  • Any kind of personal expenses, optional tours or extra meals ordered
  • Any kind of drinks (including bottled water)
  • Lunch is not included in the package and participants will have to pay at actuals
  • Personal Medical expenses
    • Insurance of any kind
    • Anything that is not included in the inclusions list

Your Mentors

Gaurav Patharkar
Spends most of the weekends exploring the camera, Gaurav is a serious photography hobbiest. Landscape and street photography being the main subjects of interest, he believes in sharing knowledge and loves interviewing photographers globally. Gaurav is a mechanical engineer and the co-founder of The Photographers Blog currently operating in four cities via photography workshops, exhibitions and events.

Hi I am Satish Deshbhratar, I'm in to landscape, cityscapes and astrophotography. I've been teaching myself since 4 four years now and growing as a photographer. I love to share my knowledge and believe that we grow as photographers only by holding hands. i conduct Basic photography courses for TPB every month and i am an active part of conducting landscape & night trails photography with TPB. Join me to Hampi and lets make the best out of the tour and make mgnificient photographs.
